Hi

I would love to do this trip but notice it is via Madrid. There are direct flights to San Jose and I wonder why JY doesn't do this as I won't consider any holiday that has stopovers or goes via somewhere as it drags out the journey time especially coming home.

Hi Alan,

I have spoken to our aviation team about this and have an explanation for you....

At the time of creating the holidays, direct flights were not available and as such we have had to offer an indirect route. That said, the team, in partnership with our carriers, are reviewing some of the dates to see whether or not it is possible to offer the direct flights as an option.

We can't make promises at the moment - but the team are looking in to it.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Alan,

I did this tour via Madrid and even with the longer flight time, it was definitely worth it!  I hope you book it either way and I'm sure you will have a fantastic time like I did!

Cheers,

Hi Julia

how come the brochure for this holiday still says via Madrid when it is actually via Newark or Houston

and please could you give us an update in Numbers for the Costa Rica & Nicaragua tour dep March 8th 2017 from LHR and if it has been cleared to operate yet

also as LHR supposed to be one of the worlds Top airports how come wherever I've travelled worldwide it has always been via somewhere which does add hours on to the already long trip

however this Tour does look fab and has had rave reviews should you decide to join us Alan

all the best

Dave

Hi Bob

You are an intrepid traveller getting back to Ireland from your many trips but I find airports and long journeys a waste of time so look to get the shortest trip.

Hope you are keeping well

best wishes Alan

Hi Julia

how come the brochure still states via Madrd when we are going via Newark or Houston, no mention of Madrid on the website and could you give me an update on numbers for the March 7th departure and if it's got the green light which is from LHR via Houston

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

I've raised the airport issue with our brochure team who will be looking into it. I can confirm that the March departure is currently listed as flying via Houston.

There are currently 15 travellers booked, and yes this has been given the green light to go ahead.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Dave

Sounds like a good trip but I am going to Thailand over xmas and new year so March is a bit soon although I might have considered it if it had been a direct flight.

Enjoy the trip

Alan
