Hi Pat,I live in London. I didnt have the Yellow fever as you dont need this as you are not coming from a contamenated country and this is also £60, my doctor told me this is not needed. some clinics will just give this to you to make a bit of money apparently!! its good your doing the extension. have you looked into malaria tablets yet? malarone are the best.

Good morning all. I am also going to Kenya in March and due for jabs Monday pm. Not sure how much to take - I was told to take dollars and some travellers' cheques, also read that people take 2 bags. Not sure what to do as it's my first time away on my own, as recently widowed. Could any body help? I read you should take notebooks, pens and pencils to give to the children - is that right?

Hey Ronnie, I will see you at Heathrow then. I'm only taking one suitcase, K shilling & Travellers' Cheques. Don't forget your mosquito bite spray - must contain Deet. I'm taking lots of T shirts, some long sleeve - and don't forget your hat. I'm also leaving home at 3pm to get there. ;0)

Hi, I've just received my holiday confirmation, soo excited but think it's going to be a long 8 month wait! Been planning this 'adventure' for the last 2 years. A little confused about jabs though - brochure says none required but confirmation booklet says opposite. Not a fan of needles!!!
