In terms of where to meet, it might be worth taking a look at the terminal map which you can view here (from page 2)

There is a Cafe Nero near the far entrance to the terminal (this is before you go through security), alternatively there is a Starbucks and a couple of eateries after. There are also huge zone "markers" which have the departures boards on them near the check in desks. When I last flew from T5 I met my travelling companion next to one of these.

Hi. I am going on the american golden west tour on 6th October. Myself Jycmayne and jackyhopley1 would like to get together on the 5th October as we are both staying overnight . If you look through the latest threads, we would like to exchange email addresses if thats ok.

Also "Joy" has asked if we can meet up before the flight in actual terminal 5, have you any suggestions where we could meet as I have never flown from Heathrow before.
