A longer answer is that I must stress that the Just You team listen very carefully to the advice of ABTA and the FCO and put the heath and safety of our customers first. If there is an event that will have an impact on your holiday, the team will contact you.

I can confirm that this area is NOT visited on your Just You holiday.

It also appears that the event in Yumen was an isolated case and a quarantine that was placed on the city has since been lifted. Authorities have informed the WHO that they will continue to monitor those who were in close contact with the farmer.

In terms of jabs/any additional precautions, we would always recommend that you speak to your practice nurse or GP for the most up to date recommendations on vaccinations for any holidays as they have access to your medical history.

I don't want to worry any of my fellow forthcoming JY 'Inspirational China' travellers but I noticed last week that there has been an issue with Bubonic Plague in the North West of the country recently. I'm sure JY are all over it like a rash (if you'll pardon the pun) and would never take any chances with our health or safety but, do you have an update for us? (for example, any additional precautions or jabs that we might need)
