Hi Carol

I am going to China on September 12 and doing the Yangtze Add On.

People that have been before suggest that you take around £100 to £150 in Chinese Yuan and also take Sterling in £10 or £20 notes. They must be clean and not written on. Change these at your hotel because you get much better rates. Also, as a back up, have your credit card to use for larger purchases as required.

Look forward to meeting you on !2th September at Heathrow.

Peter

Hi Carol

You won't need a lot of money as all your meals and excursions are included. You will need money for drinks, tips, souvenirs and any extras you need - personally I would allow about £20-£25 a day but you may be someone who likes to spend more.

The currency to use is Chinese yuan.

Kind regards

Olly, your editor

I have a few concerns, perhaps an experienced traveller can help.

I'm going to China in September 12, my first trip on my own, so nervous.

Some questions

what would you recommend would be the rough guide of the amount of money I should take.

Does China take US Dollars.

Any help would be appreciated.
