Hi Chris

I would say you are going at a very good time. It will be winter in South Africa when you go, so the animals will be on the move a lot, looking for food.

The second person you spoke to may have meant the UK summer was the time to visit. As you may already know, when it's summer in the UK, it's winter in South Africa, and vice versa.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor

Olly - I am travelling to South Africa 8th June - any ideas on temperatures, suitable clothing? Also when I booked last July 2010 the customer services lady told me that winter was a good time for viewing the animals but recently the CS person has said the summer is better. Any views? thanks Chris
