Re Tuscany....It might be very hot then, I went earlier than that and it was scorching! to make matters worse I had taken all the wrong clothes thinking it would be cooler...regarding the beach....the hotel is just a hop away from it! I am not a swimmer! bad experience many years ago! and to be honest I cannot remember if there is sand or it is pebbled! but I remember people in the tour group did take a dip. I did spend a few hours on the top balcony taking in some sun....

I also wanted to add a big thank to you Julia and the team for all your hard work and efforts on our behalf.

I am trying to make a decision as to where I go next this year. I am pretty certain that the Tuscany tour will be my destination. I am not sure whether to go on the beginning of June or the end of August date. I do need to save the pennies however. This will be my sixth tour. Question for forum users.. Is the beach good for swimming on the tour?
