Hi cfreading

It is worth paying the hefty supplement if you like your own space. I paid it when I did this trip last September, but those who shared also got on well with each other and no one had any problems sharing. One gentleman was very lucky as he got his own room without having to pay a supplement since he had no one to share with so you may also get lucky. I did not want to take a chance so paid up.

I have been on a Kenya tour a few years ago, and we also had to share, which sounds scary but in fact it was fine, one lady with medical needs had her own room...

On the tour I did the Tour Manager said had anyone buddied up on plane etc or we’re friends if so did they want to stay together, at the end of the day, I am on a holiday to see and do things, sleeping is a small part, it isn’t what I would want if I could help it but it’s due to the nature of the lodges etc.. so in true British form we just got on with it and manage to have a laugh about it..

I would rather spend my money while away than put it on a room.

Hi cfreadiing,

That's correct, the overall price for trip for single rooms ranges from £555 to £813, depending on which date you choose.

The rooms are on request, so please give us a call if this is something you would like to book.

Many thanks,

Vickie

Hi Deb,

Due to the nature of the small lodge-style accommodation on safari you will share a twin room on this tour (apart from the last night in Nairobi). You will be paired with another Just You traveller of the same sex.

Thanks,

Vickie

Hi Vickie,  I understand that there are single rooms available in the lodges for a supplement.  Could you please advise how much this is?

I  am looking at the Kilamanjaro to Masai mara holiday. The  info page says shared accommodation but has an asterisk. I cannot find what the asterisk means. Can you confirm  (or deny) that the room is sole use?

Thanks
