Paul, I am seriously thinking about the first Calabria in 2019. I'll probably book it this weekend.

Hi Alan  Sorry only just picked up your post I was making a final decision over the weekend and it is going to be Calabria on 9th May 2019. Have you done the dirty deed. The only small problem I have is I am waiting for a hospital appointment hopefully early in September. I don't know if I can make a provisional booking to hold a place I am going to contact JY in next couple of days. Will you stay overnight Wednesday 8th I was going to book Premier Inn Stansted (£53 includes free cancellation). It would be good to see you again.  Paul

Paul, I've just booked Calabria for the 9th May 2019. I have also booked the Premier Inn for the 8th and airport parking. Hope to see you then.

Hi Alan  Provisional booking not possible so have just booked Calabria for 9th May and also Premier Inn Stansted for night of 8th May. I know it's 9 months away but time seems to pass so quickly.

Hi Vickie

I am STILL trying to make up my mind about these 2 holidays but there are only 3 dates in 2019 for Calabria whereas for Puglia it seems to be every week. Are there any plans to issue more dates for Calabria. Does this lack of dates mean this holiday is likely to be removed in the near future and if so I will need to go next year.

Hi Paul,

I have done both of these and loved them both.  I think Pugiia had the edge, but the hotel in Calabria takes some beating.  A destination of its own.  Many  reviews here have said something along the lines of "do what you like with the tour, but DO NOT change the hotel".

I know it's a tough choice!

If it makes your decision easier, we'll be adding more dates for Calabria 2019 soon, and if they get booked up then we will keep adding. There are no plans to remove Calabria in the near future as it's one that customers love because you're off the beaten track a bit and stay in a lovely family-run hotel.
