Cheers,

Any idea what the weather is likely to be or is it just a case of layers and should I take a swimsuit? ;)
Hi Silburn
I'm on this trip too and agree that you should dress in layers. Having been to Canada (the Rockies) before in September, I took layers - you needed a fleece first thing and you could strip off to t-shirt late morning onwards for the unseasonably hot weather! Always take a swimsuit just in case...

It looks as though the weather is changeable at this time of year so I would suggest layers. Colder in the evenings though. It doesn’t look like there will be any snow
Some of the hotels on the tour have swimming pools so you may want to take a swimming costume.
I hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Mildred
Hi Sally - I promise I will write a review of all the photography and fridge magnet hot spots! I've been looking forward to this one for a while now - Mr Gray recommended it (no pressure, Bob..)
Not long to go for you to Rapa Nui now (how many days? not that you are counting...) I think I asked this on another thread but if you have any hints or recommendations for Santiago when you get back, I'd be really grateful. BA have shifted my return flights in January and so I've got a couple of nights there now.
Happy travels
Mandy
I'm looking to (finally!) do this one next year so I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on it on your return. Thanks also for all your great advice on Easter Island, really looking forward to it.
Sally
I paid for two plane flights and one helicopter trip on the NPs tour by credit card with no problems - I think just about everyone did. All well worth it. Have a blast!
You can pay by credit card if you let the tour manager know in advance that this is how you will pay.
One more quick question, this time about 'In resort' payments.
I've already pre-booked a number of optional excursions on the National Parks Tour but note that the flight over Monument Valley is only bookable in resort via TM or Local Guide. I know that, in the past, TM's have been unable to accept credit/debit card payments. As the flight is nearly £400, I was wondering if we will be able to pay with cards this time or if I should make sure to bring plenty of additional cash to cover it. This is certainly one excursion that I don't want to miss!
Many thanks
