Hi Dave
Sounds like a good trip but I am going to Thailand over xmas and new year so March is a bit soon although I might have considered it if it had been a direct flight.
Enjoy the trip

Hi Alan,I did this tour via Madrid and even with the longer flight time, it was definitely worth it! I hope you book it either way and I'm sure you will have a fantastic time like I did!Cheers,Bob

Hi Bob
You are an intrepid traveller getting back to Ireland from your many trips but I find airports and long journeys a waste of time so look to get the shortest trip.
Hope you are keeping well
best wishes Alan
I have spoken to our aviation team about this and have an explanation for you....
At the time of creating the holidays, direct flights were not available and as such we have had to offer an indirect route. That said, the team, in partnership with our carriers, are reviewing some of the dates to see whether or not it is possible to offer the direct flights as an option.
We can't make promises at the moment - but the team are looking in to it.
I would love to do this trip but notice it is via Madrid. There are direct flights to San Jose and I wonder why JY doesn't do this as I won't consider any holiday that has stopovers or goes via somewhere as it drags out the journey time especially coming home.
