Hi Hils,

Our brochure is in the very final steps of production, so I can assure it wont be long until we can start teasing you. I can, however, let you in on a little secret in that there are loads of new Long Haul trips!

The festive brochure will start arriving on your doorsteps in about two weeks, but keep your eyes peeled for them on the website as they may be online sooner. Julia and I may even give you a little hint beforehand...

Kindest regards,

Monty

I was thinking about Japan for next year, but as you've said there'll be loads of long haul trips, I'll have to wait for the brochure....I'm counting the days!!  😃

And the 2017 dates are now up for Canada and the Rocky Mountaineer as well - great!!  Now Monty why couldn't you have told me the June date two weeks ago when I asked?!!

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Monty,

Thanks for coming back. Antartica for Xmas/New Year - WOW! Thanks for putting Kerala back on for next year too. I can see I'm going to be booking a lot for 2017 already!

Cheers,

Hils

Now that Monty is mentioning about loads of new Long Haul trips in the new brochure, I hope I am not tempted to change my plans for next year!

Hi Monty,

That is very exciting that there a lots of new long haul tours - I had nearly made my mind up regarding next year but I may well have to think again!

Can't wait for the new brochure and I do hope that either you, Julia or Alicia will give us some hints before it appears on our doormats or online!

Have a great weekend,

Bob

Hi Monty,

Are you able to give us any clues as to new 2017 holidays - in particular long haul? I see that Travelsphere are doing a Bhutan trip, which I would be very, very interested in, but would prefer it with JY. Also, I've been unable to fit Kerala in for this year (3 long haul trips done/booked!), and am really hoping you will still run it next year.

Patiently (not!) waiting for the new brochure! Also, when will you be announcing your Christmas/New Year trips for 2016?

Cheers,

Hils

Hi Mark,

I imagine a week long JY Iceland tour would be around £2,000 as this is the price of the TS tour plus single supplement.  Perhaps this might be too expensive for some - as you say the nordic countries are very expensive!  However, if it were half board this would be good value as the food in Iceland is out of this world!!

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Dawn,

The Andalucia tour is one of JY's most popular (the first tour I ever did with them) so I'm sure there will be dates for 2017!  Sri Lanka seems to be quite popular so I'd say there will probably be dates for it as well.

Hi Sarah,

That's disappointing to hear that there are no firm plans to bring in a longer Iceland tour to JY - when I wrote my review after being on the "Splendours" tour last year and suggested it, Julia replied that the team were already on it!  Something must have happened in the meantime.  I loved Iceland so much I may well do the Travelsphere week long tour at some stage if JY don't bring in a longer summer tour.  Here's hoping!

Cheers,

Bob

The Iceland tour looks good but Scandinavia is so expensive, i would wonder whether a longer Iceland trip would be too expensive?

Hi Kate,

The main brochure will be with you at the beginning of May. Unfortunately I can't tell you any specific dates, but the new holidays will be up online around the time of the brochure launch.

Kindest regards,

Monty

Excited!!!! 😉
