When I went to Namibia early this year, wish I had known about fantastic hot and cold food available in the lounge. If I had known this, I would not have spend nearly £12 for a salad! My experience of the lounge when I went to Jordan was what Cindy has said, but the lounge we used before flying out to South Africa had really delicious food. I guess this all depends on which lounge you are using.

In the past when I have had the use of a lounge before a flight, there have been on offer a selection of drinks including soft, alcoholic and tea/coffee etc, the food really has been nibbles, crisps perhaps crackers n cheese, breakfast cereal tubs ,maybe cakes etc, but not in my experience main meals.

The airport lounge is booked for 3 hours before the flight departs, and food and drink is included in lounges. We are just waiting for confirmation for this tour and then information will be sent to you with your final information.

I'm booked on the Cuba Sept trip and the itinerary says 'use of airport lounge in UK'. Can you please give me more details, e.g. what time it's available and is there any (free) food or drink?
