I went on this trip in September 2013. Had a wonderful time up in the mountains and lakes with snow and sunshine. We travelled on every form of transport - except bicycles :P

Take your passport to the Tourist Office at Vaduz for a stamp, cost a few Euros. Do take Swiss Francs as you do spend some time there. You can spend Euros in Switzerland, they will give you change in Francs. Hotel was good except my room was above the coaches which became very noisy and where they would hang out for a smoke. Could not change it due to the amount of people there that week. Had to remember to order your dinner in the morning or you got whatever there was left that night :thumbup:

I remember one church up in a valley that we had enough time to visit and grab a coffee. Beautiful murals of the Apostles. Lindau was beautiful with the ferry bringing us back to Bregenz. You will see the theatre there which featured heavily in Quantum of Solace.

All together a great trip and well worth it.

Hi Keith,

No it doesn't mean nobody has booked as only a small minority (suspect around 10% at best) use the forum.

Of the holidays i've done average about 3 or 4 of us on the forum but have done at least one trip where nobody replied.

Using this "ask the editor" section and posting a question requesting numbers booked on the date you're considering you will find Julia will give you that information.

Lowest number I've seen on a JY holiday is around 16, dont believe they go with much less than that.

I’m thinking of booking The Heart of Alpine Europe for 9th Sept 2015 and I’m finding it impossible to find any threads on the current trips. Is that because no one has booked? I have to say as sites go this isn’t the easiest to navigate and the searches bring back lots that have nothing to do with the original search item. As a new member some assistance would be appreciated.

Even here creating a post the text window hides options it’s not laid out very well
