I went on a Discovery Weekend three years ago, since when I have been on four JY holidays. With hindsight I realise there was nothing to feel apprehensive about, if you choose something that really appeals to you, you are bound to meet like minded lovely people. Take the plunge, you won't be disappointed.

there is no need to worry, many people I know have tried a discovery weekend to only realise there is nothing to worry about and they then wish they had out their money into a full tour...

Please have a look around on the reviews and other postings, these tours are great fun you see and do so much and are looked after and meet nice people..

my very first tour was a full on USA tour I just went for it...I now have my 11th tour booked, I have been as close as Austria and as far as New Zealand...and all I between..any questions just ask

Good morning Pathfinder,

For about the last 12 months we have "rested" the Discovery Weekends. I've just had a quick chat with JY Will, our chief holiday creator and he has mentioned that his team are currently reviewing these short breaks and are looking to see whether or not adding these back into our programme of tours is an option for later in the year.

While it may not be set in stone - it's certainly work watching this space!
