I am thinking about going on this tour in 2015. Can you tell me how much walking is involved. I realise that there is a lot of travelling but at each place visited are the tours done on foot?

I have done many JY tours to USA, and most of them have required a fair amount of walking if I am honest, mostly on flat surfaces..earlyish starts at times and can mean longish coach journeys but there would be comfort stops along the way.

There's a bit of a mix on this one.... Predominantly you will be travelling by coach from destination to destination but there is quite a bit of getting on an off the coach to take advantage of photo opportunities on the way.

There is walking involved in the towns and cities as you take tours around these although in one or two cases a little bit of the city/town tour might be done by coach.

In addition to this there is the optional excursions which you may or may not like to join in and then there is the time at leisure - so you are free to take this at your own pace.
