I have used Moneycorp to order currency online and they are great. I usually have the currency delivered at home. There is no charge if you order £500+, but the best thing about them is they will deliver it on the day you want and the exchange rates are quite good.

Thanks for all your helpful responses. As I'm flying from Gatwick I'll give it a go.

Never heard of them so just checked out their site and am impressed by their rates. I normally use "cheque centre" who i find competitive and have a branh in the town i live.

Think the collection at airport is only from certain ones where they have a branch, can only see 4 airports on the list - Gatwick, Stanstead, Southend & Southampton.

But with next day home delivery cant see a problem using them.

Hi, ur a Liverpool supporter like me! yes I used moneycorp recently online for my Peru currency and no problems, my currency arrived the following morning, I also requested smaller notes just by replying to the confirmation email and my request was carried out, I know they had the best rate for peru at that time and there was no delivery charge if you ordered £500 which is mandatory with most money exchangers, didn't know about picking up at the airport but that's a good deal if you get the better rate

I use Travelex if going from an airport as it is easily bookable online and collect as I arrive. We have a Eurochange here in Fareham and they give a better deal than most of the others. It really does pay to shop around as Sainsbury does a deal if you produce your card and Tesco sometimes have good offers on US $ or Euros.

Has anyone used 'Moneycorp' for currency purchases? They appear to be 10% better than the high street and you can pick it up at many airports, so no delivery charge. You have to order in advance online but do not pay up front. If the rate on the day of collection is better you get that rate.

Seems to me a win win situation but perhaps other people know better.
