Tomorrow's nearly here! Italy here we come....

I'm nervous and excited all rolled into one. I'm sure my nerves will go once I meet my first fellow traveller!

See you all either at the airport or in Italy.

Di 🙂

Hi Ash,

Where the flight times are significantly different, the group will have different arrangements and if the tour manager is not travelling with the group, they will be met by one of our overseas agents.

So on arrival in Venice, the group from Gatwick will head to the hotel and meet their fellow travellers at the hotel for the welcome drinks in the evening.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Thanks Julia.

Kind regards,

Ash.

Hi Ash,

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, you visited some wonderful destinations together. Italy is beautiful so I'm sure you'll get some cracking clips.

It's a pretty good theory you have there, hopefully you've seen some threads on here about other travellers' experiences of the trips they have taken and the people they have met.

As for the next JY brochure.... it's only a mere 67 days until it begins mailing!

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Julia,

With regard the Classic Cities of Italy tour, flying out on 11th. September what will happen in respect of the two flights (Gatwick and Manchester) with different arrival and departure times. I assume that the Gatwick flight will arrive in Venice approx., one hour before the Manchester flight and the return flight from Rome will depart fpr Manchester five hours after the Gatwick departure.

On arrival in Venice, do the Gatwick passengers wait at the airport for the Manchester flight to arrive before being transported to the hotel.

I assume that on the 18th. September there will be separate transport to the airport for the two groups.

Kind regards,

Ash.

Hi Julia,

Many thanks.

Hi Julia,

I am a keen amateur videographer and I am looking forward to everything but in particular the historic architecture.

My wife passed away in August last year. We have travelled together to various locations including Australia, Canada, USA and Sweden but never to Italy.

My theory on booking this holiday is that I will be experiencing a new destination and hopefully making new friends.

I already have a few destinations in mind for next year and eagerly wait the new JU brochure.

Kind regards,

Ash.

Hi Ash,

Not a problem at all - it's what I'm here for!

I hope you have a fantastic time in Italy, is there any part of the tour you are particularly looking forward to?

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Julia,

Many thanks for your fast reply. It sounds like there will be a good mix in the group and I am really looking forward to meeting them.

This is my first solo holiday, hopefully the first of many..

Kind regards,

Ash.

Hi Ash,

The Classic Cities of Italy tour leaving on the 11th September is fully booked with 25 travellers! The group is made up of 7 men and 18 women with ages from late-20s through to early 70s.

It looks like there are 6 of the group flying from Manchester, so make sure you keep an eye out for those Just You luggage tags (and don't forget to put yours on show too).

Kindest regards,

Julia
