I gave it a lot of consideration and was tempted but I have to admit I'm a bit put off by the thought of a long haul holiday. The itinerary is also very full on with a lot of travelling including internal flights. My last couple of JY holidays have been to Italy which is somewhere I really like and can get to in just a couple of hours. Perhaps I'm just getting old!! I do like the look of Namibia as a possibility for next year mainly because of the fantastic time we had in South Africa but I will have to see.

I'm sure you and Bob will have a great time and I shall look forward to reading the review on your return.

If I go on another holiday I wanted something a bit later in September and Apulia fits in with the dates I'm available although I haven't booked yet. It also looks to be another very nice area of Italy. I'm afraid Calabria will have to wait until maybe next year.
