It is a good question, and one that we have looked into before but there are a few reasons which mean that we are not able to provide this information. Let me provide just a little bit more detail….

We want to make sure that we allocate the right tour manager to the right tour and this means listening to the feedback of our customers at the same time as building and maintaining strong relationships with them. The questionnaires that we ask customers to complete provide us with valuable information about the performance of the tour manager, and we use the most up to date responses to make sure that customers are continuously receiving a high level of service. One of the ways we manage to keep relationships strong is by not messing the tour managers around - simply by issuing a contract only when a tour has been cleared to operate, means they shouldn’t miss out on any other opportunities if the tour is unable to run.

Obviously, there is a bit more to it than that, but it does provide a bit of an overview to the situation.

I think Geoff's question is a very good one and one that has come up from time to time in the past, regarding access to lists of tours and the tour managers that will be leading them. Regularly at the end of a tour, various people ask their tour manager for info of other tours they'll be leading and at other times the tour manager has said, "hope to see you on another tour of mine in the future!" I think if it were possible JY/TS should look into allocating their tour managers a lot earlier - I understand that as the TMs are free-lance, this is not always possible - but it could help sell a few places if it were known in advance that a certain highly popular TM was leading it! There are a few TMs I'd love to do a tour with again - especially Anne Murray and Zoe Ireland as they were brilliant - but if they are only allocated a couple of months beforehand, it's too late to think about booking then!

Hi Geoff,

We provisionally allocate tour managers a couple of months before departure.

At the moment Erica is provisionally listed as the tour manager with three of our Travelsphere tours but not any of our Just You holidays.

Hi! Is it possible to know what reps will be on which forthcoming holidays. I would like to know if Erica Hajdu will be on any tours soon. The Riviera splendour holiday on which she was the rep, was great fun, and it would be good to do another holiday with her.
