Hi I agree completely with what Chris has said, I've often thought the same myself. Well done for suggesting it!

Cheers,

Good morning Chris,

We all wholly agree that your idea is a super one and we shall certainly look at getting it implemented!

Keep the ideas coming!

Kindest,

Ben

Pleased to be of help. You may even find you get a knock-on effect, from other non-booked people seeing the "full holidays".

For instance, if you searched for UK Xmas holidays now, you wouldn't see a lot, only one or two venues, as most of the holidays are fully booked. This might give someone browsing the wrong idea, that there isn't much Xmas holiday activity.

On the other hand, if someone came here looking for Xmas holidays and saw 8 holidays, 6 of which are fully booked; it (a) gives them an idea of what might be available next year, and that they need to enquire earlier; (b) shows them how popular the Xmas breaks are, which may convince them to book one of the few remaining.

It certainly won't do any harm! 😃

I usually o copy and paste the itinerary to one of my folders so it is always there besides printing it out. This is quite useful as the full itinerary is only sent out with the final documents.

Regards

Jaya

Good morning,

Thanks for getting in touch with your suggestion. It is a brilliant idea, I will certainly take it to our web developer and see if this is something we can implement early in the new year.

Thanks very much once again,

Kindest,

Ben

I can't help notice that when holidays are sold out, they are removed from the website, and anyone who may have the page bookmarked are given a message:

We're sorry but the tour you selected is no longer available. Please take a look at our list of similar holidays shown below, as we think you'll find an alternative that's just as inspiring.

This can actually be quite inconvenient for someone who has booked the holiday, and simply wants to check up on a detail, such as the itinerary, without rummaging for the posted confirmation (which may or may not have arrived at that point).

Wouldn't it be possible to keep holidays on the website, and simply mark them as "full", and prevent any further bookings being made for it? Obviously, once the holiday dates have passed, then it could be removed completely, but until the start date, it is really useful to have the details available online.
