I have used a discount voucher twice now and have not had to post it to JY. I think as long as they take the number of it and the value the discount is automatically shown in your confirmation letter from them. Having said that, the last time I tried to use the voucher I kept telling the lady about it and she didn't really know what to do with it! I got a follow up phone call from her to say I should phone in with the number of the voucher.
Olly, perhaps a gentle reminder to those who train new staff on how to process vouchers might not go amiss?
Regards
Sylvia
The best thing to do is to give us a ring on 0844 567 8844 with your booking reference handy. Our holiday advisors take bookings every day so are best placed to advise you about this. They will be able to let you know if we have received the voucher and if it is possible to use it.
Kind regards,
Hi MaggieI'm sorry if you felt our phone service wasn't as good as you are used to. We have taken on a few new staff recently so it may just have been that you spoke to someone who was learning the ropes. We do have a very rigorous training process for all of our holiday advisors so I'm sure your experience will be better next time. You are certainly entitled to use your voucher (subject to the terms and conditions of the offer) so I hope you were able to use it when you called.Kind regards,Olly, your editor

I was told I had to send the voucher in. This was after he took all the details. This will be my second attempt to do the Nile Cruise so fingers crossed.
I find it strange that when you give your details the call centre seem to have no idea of any previous bookings( this will be my 8th holiday with Just You) and regard with suspicion any discount you try to claim. I know that data protection is at play but surely a rapport should be built up when you have to speak to someone because of previous holiday bookings i.e. a returning customer.
